Early Stage Type 1 Diabetes

Following the publication of NICE TA1176 (Teplizumab for delaying the onset of Stage 3 Type 1 diabetes in people aged 8 years and older with Stage 2 Type 1 diabetes), developments in the Early-Stage Type 1 Diabetes (EST1D) landscape have progressed rapidly.

This section of the CYP National Diabetes Network website has been developed as a central resource for professionals working within children and young people’s diabetes services and adult diabetes services.
