We know that there are currently many conversations about how this new EST1D service (including Teplizumab infusions) will be funded. There are discussion underway to bring clarity to the funding position.

At this stage, both paediatric and adult diabetes services, that feel they could potentially become an infusion delivery site, have been asked to identify themselves to their regional CYP Diabetes Network Managers and their local ICB commissioning colleagues to ensure appropriate resourcing and implementation.
