UK Professional Conference on Eating Disorders and Diabetes (UKPCEDD)
Intensification of diabetes treatment with technology and carbohydrate counting has brought improvements in outcomes for people living with diabetes, but alongside this, a rise in distress associated with food, eating, body image and insulin dosing. The National Children & Young People’s Type 1 Diabetes and Difficulties/Disorders of Eating Network joins with the previous National Type 1 Diabetes and Eating Disorders Conference (UH Dorset NHS Trust) conference to create the UK Professional Conference on Eating Disorders and Diabetes (UKPCEDD).
