Wessex

The Children and Young People’s Wessex Diabetes Network (CYPWDN) covers a large geographical area – from the North of the patch – Basingstoke & Winchester in Hampshire County, across to Salisbury in Wiltshire, Dorchester and Poole in Dorset and across to Portsmouth, Southampton and Isle of Wight, in the south of Hampshire County.  Chichester and Worthing are also included.

The Wessex Network brings together key stakeholders in the provision of diabetes services, including: paediatric consultants, paediatric diabetes nurse specialists (PDNS), dietitians, psychologists, data managers, clinical managers, commissioners, parents of children with diabetes, and representatives from Diabetes UK and the local CCG’s.
