Introduction
The Children and Young People’s South West Diabetes Network work together with children, young people and their families to ensure high quality care and support, to live a healthy & happy life.
The Children and Young People’s South West Diabetes Network (CYPSWDN) brings together all stake-holders concerned with the delivery of care and support for children & adolescents with diabetes in the South West region. This includes, not only the eleven multidisciplinary children’s diabetes teams in the region, but also commissioners, voluntary groups and parent representatives. As well as adopting national strategy, the Network aims to feed back the views and experiences of those in the South West to the National Network Group, so influencing the opinion of those at the highest level in the NHS to direct resources where they are needed.
