East of England

We are delighted to announce that the East of England Games 2020 will take place on 29th July at Lynn Sport in Kings Lynn.

The event will start at 10am and finish at 4pm.

This is the 5th time that we have run the games. The games are open to all children with type 1 diabetes from the age of 2 -19 years of age. They are a great opportunity to try your hand at new sporting activities, to earn points for your hospitals team and to make new friends with other children and young people with type 1 diabetes.

The whole family are welcome to come and support their young person with type 1 as they compete in a variety of different sports and prove that having diabetes does not stop them from achieving their dreams.

There will be a siblings race and a parents race so the whole family can compete to earn points for their hospital.

The day really will be fund for the whole family with bouncy castels, children’s entertainers and a wide range of refreshments available.
