In 2018 the CYPWDN organised screenings around Wales of Bike Beyond, a documentary filmed by Beyond Type 1 following a team of 20 cyclists with Type 1 diabetes as they rode across the USA from New York to San Francisco.
We were joined in each location by Sid Sharma, one of the team leaders on the tour, who did a Q&A afterwards with families and healthcare professionals who attended. Screenings were held in Prestatyn, Cardiff and Swansea.
