Insights into childhood poverty and how paediatric services are experienced by those with the least resources – and what we can do to help.

Children North East’s Poverty Proofing© is a powerful method that is used to educate and support professionals to spot and reduce the impact of poverty.

Poverty Proofing Health advocates for equity of access to healthcare and to improve health outcomes for those living in poverty.

Thanks to the Royal College of Paediatric Child Health (RCPCH), Children North East are rolling out bespoke Poverty Proofing© training to all healthcare professionals working with children and young people in diabetes care.
