Shrewsbury and Telford

Shrewsbury Kids Voluntary Group (SKID)

We are a parent run support group for children with diabetes and their parents living in and around the Shrewsbury area and we organise fun activities including activity weekends and educational events that benefit the whole family because we know that diabetes does not only affect the child with diabetes, it affects the family as well.

We meet four times a year as a committee and these meetings are important to plan events and fundraising but they can be, in themselves, an opportunity to chat and discuss some of the frustrations or successes you may be facing caring for a child with diabetes.
